Cloud Engineer

In Demant we are driving state-of-the-art innovations and global service excellence within Hearing Healthcare and we are now looking for a Cloud Engineer for our Cloud Center of Excellence team in our Demant Warsaw office. You do not need to have a background in cloud solutions and public cloud providers to apply for this position. We will make sure you receive necessary training, and you will have a mentor in the team that will guide and coach you.
 

Description
 

In this role your main responsibility is planning, management, maintenance, and support of our new Salesforce Customer Identity Plus (SCIP) platform that consists of Auth0 and Salesforce. It is a new system from Salesforce that delivers Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) which means you will also take part in the implementation phase. You will work close with one of our Solutions Architects and together you will ensure integrations with a broad systems landscape in Demant as well as ensuring Operational Excellence of this important component in our digital ecosystem. 
 

Your secondary responsibility is management, maintenance and support of our current Azure platform. We have many cloud services in Azure that integrate with CIAM and it is therefore natural that your responsibility extends to this platform. You will work close with the team to ensure cost optimized, reliable, performing and secure cloud solutions that live up to our Operational Excellence requirements. 
 

Job responsibilities

  • Take part in implementation of the new SCIP (CIAM) solution
  • Responsible for the daily operations of Auth0, Salesforce and Azure
  • Operational management of service desk tickets on Auth0, Salesforce and Azure
  • Promote best practices around CIAM and Azure
  • Perform regularly cost optimization assessment on Azure subscriptions and engage with owners to plan and implement cost improvements
  • Understand, implement and automate security controls, governance processes and compliance validation
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Build and Manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and Release Management workflows
  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Manage Azure DevOps repos and branch policies
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
  • Troubleshooting techniques and fixing code bugs
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Incident management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with business stakeholders
     

Professional competences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, alternatively years of experience can be used in lieu of your degree. 
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of C#/.NET
  • Experience with Powershell and/or bash scripting
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms and technologies is a plus
  • Experience working with Auth0 platform and technology is a plus
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience working within Healthcare or other heavily compliance regulated industry is a plus
